The WayDown philosphy promotes true freedom, absolute pluralism, and individualism of the highest degree. We call this "self authoritarian anarchy", but the name can be decieving. This is not a political movement, but it is a revolution. We believe that true anarchy can't be forced or brought to the masses by force or politics - it must come from within. This revolution is intrinsic and personal, and WayDown exists to promote this revolution in every smart individual. The core belief of our doctrine is that an intelligent adult doesn't need any form of supervision, since he/she is fully responsible for their own actions. This is not the case with the majority of the population today since centuries of control have branded into our minds the so called need for authority. WayDown is devoted to finding those individuals who can set themselves free from this "need" and become their own masters, and to show them the real range of reality. Reality, in our opinion, is something to explore and expand constantly. Instead of fearing the different, the extreme, the bizzare, and closing oneself up to its possibilities, one must embrace those to truly be free. Once you have all the options lined up and you are truly able to choose from infinity, you are as free as any human being will ever be.
This does not mean we promote crime or any act that would lead to suffering by anyone; we do however promote the little harmless things that make a person free from dogmas, norms, values, fears, politically correctness and even the law. A truly self-authoritarian person would be responsible for his/her actions and would have enough intelligence to realize that hurting another person in the name of his/her own freedom will, ultimately, just lead to less freedom in the world. Compromise is an inseperable part of living in society, but it should come from within and apply individually to the case - not be forced from above by a generic set of rules that supposedly apply to the majority.
A self-authoritarian anarch would always be open to other people's ideas and beliefs, and accept that they are just as good and true as his/her own. He/she would know and be prepared to defend his/her and others' rights to think, speak and act freely - even if those thoughts, words and actions aren't to his/her liking. Chaotist Hassan I Sabbah once phrazed it: "nothing is true, everything is permitted". If nothing is true, then your own thoughts and beliefs are no more but no less plausible than another's. If everything is permitted, then you are not bound by any set of rules other than the one you set for yourself. Your range of reality isn't restricted by what is permitted, but by what you *want*.
Our "anarchy" is not the chaotic bloody thing that people tend to associate with that word. Our anarchy is intrinsic, intelligent, sophisticated and full of philosophy. We are not an organization of rebels, terrorists or violent warriors of any kind. We are a group of scholars, philosphers and thinkers who are devoted to promoting our cause through intellectual means. To the normal, dogmatic person this site may seem like bullshit, madness or a meaningless rant at humanity. To the free and intelligent, it is a breath of dizzying freedom.
Anyone with a bit of intelligence can develop themselves to this point, and that's why we're here. This revolution, already in motion all over the world in many different forms, can't be seen or heard; there is no army, no beheading and no bastille. It is simply the slow, quiet evolution of our minds that are finally beginning to break free from the shackles they have been in for millenia. The world is changing, and human beings must change as well.
